Please consider giving to our outreach by signing up to donate a gift or gifts for families in need.  Gift requests will be posted on SignUpGenius by December 4.  If you'd like to take part, please read the instructions below.  

HOW TO PARTICIPATE

• SIGN UP:  The sign-up will be available December 4.  When it's available, click on 
  the SignUpGenius link at the bottom of this page to be brought to our Gift of Love wish list (the sign-up will close at 2 p.m. December 13).  You may sign up for as many gifts as you care to give.  (New gift requests may be added until the sign-up closes.) If online access is difficult for you, please call the parish office 617-734-0444 during office hours (Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) and we will help you select and sign up for a gift.
• DONATE:  If you are not able to shop for a gift but would like to contribute, please use our website's donation form to make a donation online (choose the Christmas Gift of Love earmark).  Checks payable to St. Mary's Parish ("Gift of Love" written on the memo line) can also be dropped off or mailed (5 Linden Place, Brookline, MA 02445).

PREPARING THE GIFT(S)

1. Please leave the gift(s) unwrapped.  Please put gift cards in a sealed envelope.
2. PLEASE WRITE YOUR FIRST AND LAST NAME AND THE LETTER CODE AT THE BEGINNING OF THE DESCRIPTION OF THE GIFT YOU SIGNED UP FOR (SUCH AS "C" or "M-AB") ON A PIECE OF PAPER AND TAPE IT SECURELY TO YOUR GIFT/GIFT CARD(s).  This is important because your name and the code on the gift is how we match your gift to your sign-up and identify who the gift is for.

DROPPING GIFTS OFF

Please drop them off at the parish office (Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) by 4 p.m., Friday, December 13.  If the gift will fit in the mailbox on the side door, it can be placed there outside of office hours as long as it is before the deadline.  

Your gifts go to families from the Boston Healthcare for the Homeless Program (BHCHP), Crossroads Family Shelter, and our local community.  Thank you very much for your caring hearts and generosity.  Have a blessed Advent and a Merry Christmas.  God bless you and your loved ones!

Donations for flowers to beautify our churches for the season may be made in memory of a deceased loved one or in honor of someone living.  Please  donate online on our website's donation form and choose the Christmas Flowers earmark or checks payable to St. Mary’s Parish (“Christmas flowers” written on the memo line) can be dropped off or mailed.  Thank you for your support.

Please give us the names by noon, Wednesday, December 18.  A sheet with the names of loved ones will be available alongside the bulletin in church during the Christmas season.    

GIVING US THE NAMES OF LOVED ONES:

• If donating by check, please include a note with the name(s).
• If donating online please use our website's donation form, choose the Christmas Flowers earmark, and type the name(s) in the comment box.
