St. Vincent de Paul Society Annual Feast Day Appeal, September 27 Weekend

News September 22, 2020

September 27 is the Feast of St. Vincent de Paul who dedicated his life to working with the poor and is the patron saint of all charities.  The St. Vincent de Paul Society was established in his name in 1833 and continues his great work around the world.  Here at St. Mary our conference was established many years ago to assist our friends and neighbors in Brookline and the surrounding area.  Thanks to our generous parishioners, we have been able to assist many families during the past years.

Our St. Vincent de Paul annual appeal is our single most important fundraiser for our conference during the year.  Last year, because of your generosity, more than $6,000 was raised.  This year is a challenge because of the pandemic.  We ask that you prayerfully consider how you can help us financially to continue the mission of the Society.  Any donation large or small will be welcomed and appreciated.  Checks made out to St. Vincent de Paul, St. Mary can be mailed to the parish office at 5 Linden Place, Brookline 02445.  Donations can also be made on our website by clicking this online giving link and earmarking “Special Collection: St. Vincent de Paul Society” as the recipient of your donation.  Thank you for your continuing support and ongoing generosity!
