Welcome to the parish of Saint Mary of the Assumption!  Our parish includes the main campus at St. Mary of the Assumption Church located in Brookline Village, as well as the worship site of St. Lawrence Church on Route 9 in Brookline's Chestnut Hill neighborhood.  One parish, two churches.

We are a welcoming Catholic community of believers who invite those looking to visit for a time, looking for a new parish, seeking to return to their Catholic faith, or learning more about the Catholic church.  Whatever the reason, we are happy to have you.  We believe that you will find our parish to be a supportive and loving spiritual home. 

If you are new to the area, we look forward to meeting you personally.  We pray that through our worship, you may experience the depth of God's love for us.  We hope that you find a haven here among people who pray together, work together, and grow in friendship together.  If you have not been active in the practice of the Catholic faith, we encourage you to return.  If you would like to speak with someone on the parish staff, please do not hesitate to contact any one of us.  If a previous marriage has kept you from receiving the sacraments, we invite you to contact our pastor, Fr. Jonathan.  In many cases, we can work with you toward a favorable solution, so you can again receive the sacraments in the Catholic Church.
